Hospital Sibu is the second-largest hospital in the state of Sarawak behind Sarawak general hospital.

It is a secondary referral center for eight district hospitals located in the central region of Sarawak. Moreover, emergency cases from the Bintulu hospital are also referred to the Hospital Sibu. It has 534 hospital beds. This Hospital provides a variety of specializations including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Ophthalmology, Ear Nose and Throat, Radiology, Neurosurgery, Rheumatology, Psychiatry, and Anaesthetic services.
